Winners of the Beethoven Prize at the 2nd International Beethoven Chamber Music Competition, the 2016 Cavatina Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition and Finalists in the 2017 Royal Overseas League the Fitzroy Quartet were formed at the Royal Academy of Music in 2014 by 4 award winning musicians from Italy, Spain and the UK. They were Chamber Music Fellows at the Royal Academy during 2016/17 as well as Associate Ensemble at Birmingham Conservatoire where they have been giving chamber music workshops for the conservatoire students and studying with Oliver Wille. The Quartet have enjoyed a busy 16/17 season giving many concerts across the UK and Europe.
